Precalculus Course Duration: September – First Week of May Schedule: 1.5 hours per week Holidays: No classes during designated holidays Course Description: This year-long Precalculus course is designed to build the mathematical foundation students need before progressing to Calculus. Topics include functions and transformations, polynomial and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometry, sequences, and other essential Precalculus concepts. Instruction can be aligned with each student’s school curriculum and includes academic support, test preparation, reinforcement of weaker areas, and appropriate preview of upcoming material. For students planning to take AP Calculus AB or BC, additional emphasis will be placed on functions, algebraic skills, and trigonometry. Course Goals: Improve school performance, close knowledge gaps, strengthen algebraic and functional reasoning, and build a solid foundation for Calculus and other advanced mathematics courses.
